Priest Build Guide

The Priest is an essential support class, the backbone of every dungeon party, MVP hunt, and Guild War. You get three distinct builds, each with its own gear path from level 55 to endgame.

Build Comparison

BuildRoleBest ForDifficultyF2P Friendly
Full Support (FS)Pure Healer/BufferDungeons, MVP, WoE, GvGEasy⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
ME (Magnus Exorcismus)Holy AoE DPSUndead/Demon farming, PvE mobbingMedium⭐⭐⭐⭐
Battle Priest (Crit)Melee DPS + Off-SupportSolo farming, PvE, flexible contentMedium⭐⭐⭐

All three builds share the same Acolyte foundation. At Job Level 40, you choose your path. You can reset skills and stats anytime for free, so experiment.

Full Support Priest Level 55+ Build

The Full Support Priest keeps the party alive. Your job: heal, buff, cleanse, and resurrect. You sacrifice all personal damage for maximum team sustain. Every endgame party needs you.

Stat Priority

StatPriorityTargetWhy
INT⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐90–99Increases healing power, max SP, and M.DEF
DEX⭐⭐⭐⭐Until -100% VCT after buffsReduces cast time — faster Sanctuary and Resurrection
VIT⭐⭐⭐⭐70+Max HP, DEF, survivability. A dead Priest = dead party
LUK0–20Minor M.ATK and status resistance; low priority

Allocation order: Max INT first → raise DEX until you hit -100% variable cast time with buffs active → dump remaining into VIT. In PvP, shift more points from INT into VIT as the extra 5% heal is not worth losing 15% HP.

Full Support Gear Progression from Level 55 to Endgame

The Full Support Priest gear path prioritizes healing output, cast speed, and survivability. Here is the head-to-toe setup at level 55 and where to upgrade for endgame.

Accessory RRecovery Ring II (Legendary/Royal)Red Recovery Ring or Lunatic Brooch (Red)Same — do not duplicate the same trait

Sprint Set (3-piece):

  • SP Cap +5%, Magic Damage +2%.
  • Each piece: -2% VCT, +12 M.ATK.

Goibne Set (3-piece):

  • Elemental skill damage reduction, VIT +6.
  • Better for PvP resists Silence, Freeze, and Blind.

Lunatic Brooch vs Recovery Ring:

  • Lunatic Brooch gives more actual heal output because the M.ATK multiplier in the heal formula outweighs the flat healing bonus. Test both.

Charity stones are cheaper than the Spell set (which needs expensive VIT stones). Use Charity on weapon + both accessories.

Rune Engine

Target Holy Resonance (yellow, 7 crystals): +12% healing done/received, -10% damage taken, +15% all status resistance, +8% P.ATK/M.ATK on heal. Pair with Wind Resonance (green): +15 all stats, -25% fixed cast time, GCD reduction. Key runes: Healing Nova, Instant Healing, Healing Assault, Warding Halo, Healing Amplification — aim for level 3+ on each.

Recommended Cards

Early game (budget): Drops, Savage, Frilldora, Merman, Andre, Zerom, Andre Larva, Steiner, Elder Willow.

Mid to late game: Skeleton Worker, Argiope, Orc Baby, Sohee, Thara Frog, Mimic, Mirage Orc Hero, Mirage Dracula, Mirage Freoni, Mirage Mistress.

  • Tanking: Baby Garm (freeze attackers), Bigfoot, Golem, Mammoth (all damage reduction)
  • Premium: Dawn, Alice, Rita

ME (Magnus Exorcismus) Priest — Level 55+ Build

The ME Priest is a Holy AoE specialist. Magnus Exorcismus creates a ground field that deals heavy Holy magic damage to everything inside Undead and Demon monsters take extra. This build farms faster than Full Support and still carries enough heals and buffs for party content.

Stat Priority

StatPriorityTargetWhy
INT⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐90–99Holy damage scaling, heal power, max SP
DEX⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Until -100% VCTME has a long cast — you need instant cast for safe farming
VIT⭐⭐⭐50–70Survivability while channeling ME in mob packs

Core Skills

SkillLevelNotes
Magnus Exorcismus10Main damage skill. AoE field, Holy property. Max this
Demon Bane5–10Passive damage boost vs Undead/Demon
Turn Undead5–10Single-target Holy nuke; chance to instant-kill Undead. Spam between MEs
Signum Crucis0–10Lowers enemy M.DEF. Better than Holy Light for PvP. Optional
Safety Wall5–10Protects you while casting ME. Does NOT work on MVP/boss damage
Sanctuary5Unlock Resurrection. Keep at 5 if you have heal traits
Resurrection4You are still a Priest — parties expect this
Heal10Core heal; also damages Undead
Blessing / Increase AGI / Kyrie / AngelusMaxStandard support kit — take them all
Impositio Manus / Gloria / Aspersio / SuffragiumMaxParty buffs

Gear Progression

SlotLevel 55Level 70+Trait

Armor SetRider Set (VCT reduction + M.ATK)Sprint Set or Goibne SetFortified, Unshakeable Guard
AccessoriesLunatic Brooch ×2 (M.ATK stacking)Red Lunatic Brooch ×2Holy Exorcism, Holy Damage (not healing traits)

Key difference from FS: ME Priest prioritizes M.ATK and Holy damage over healing bonuses. Lunatic Brooch beats Recovery Ring for damage. Use Grand Survival Staff, not Survival Wand. For PvP, swap one accessory trait to healing if you need to off-support.

Rune Engine

Target Holy Resonance (yellow, 7): healing + damage boost. Pair with Brown Resonance (4): 10% Max HP shield every 15s + enemy ATK reduction keeps you alive while channeling ME. For pure damage PvE, use Red Resonance (4) to cut enemy healing and boost burst.

Farming Maps

ME Priest excels at: Payon Cave (Undead-heavy), Glast Heim (Undead/Demon), and any map with dense Undead/Demon spawns. Stack M.ATK, set up Safety Wall, drop ME, and rotate Turn Undead between casts.

Battle Priest (Crit / Bonk) Level 55+ Build

The Battle Priest trades healing output for melee damage. You whack things with a mace, crit hard, and still carry enough support skills to off-heal and buff. This is the solo-friendly Priest build you can farm without a party.

Stat Priority

StatPriorityTargetWhy
STR⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐80–99Melee ATK, weight limit, and HP
AGI⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐70–90Attack speed — hit the 184–193 ASPD range
VIT⭐⭐⭐40–60Survivability in melee range
LUK⭐⭐0–30Crit rate — but Blunt Weapon Mastery + Gloria already give you crit. Optional

Accessory LRogue Treasure +10Red accessory with DEX/P.DMGAuto Duple Light proc (chance to trigger double attack)
Accessory RCold Heart +11Red accessory with Ignore DEFRevidation Hammer Lv3

Key mechanic: Battle Priest damage comes from basic attacks triggering Duple Light (double hit) and Sanctified Hammer procs. Stack attack speed (target 184–193 ASPD), STR for base damage, and crit from Blunt Weapon Mastery + Gloria. Cold Heart’s Ignore DEF lets you punch through tanky targets.

Rune Engine

Target Wind Resonance (green, 7): +15 all stats, +8% ASPD, -25% fixed cast time. Pair with Earth Resonance or Water Resonance. Key runes: Agile Defense (damage + ASPD), Lumina Crystal (bonus damage chance), Deadly Finale, Indomitable Wheel (12% HP restore).

Leveling Guide — Acolyte to Priest to High Priest

Levels 1–10: Novice

Follow the main quest through the tutorial. Equip whatever drops. Use basic attacks — your skill kit unlocks after the Acolyte job change.

Levels 10–40: Acolyte

Max Heal first. Heal-bomb Undead monsters in Payon Cave — Heal deals Holy damage to Undead, so you can both survive and kill. Party up whenever possible — you clear slower solo than DPS classes, but every party wants a healer. Complete all main and side quests for XP.

Skill upgrade order: Heal 10 → Blessing 10 → Increase AGI 5 → Angelus 10 → Kyrie 5.

Levels 40–55: Early Priest

After the job change at Prontera Church (Job Level 40), branch into your build. For FS: max Sanctuary → Resurrection 4 → Impositio Manus → Suffragium → Gloria. For ME: max Magnus Exorcismus → Turn Undead → Demon Bane. For Battle: max Renovatio Hammer → Blunt Weapon Mastery.

Farm Payon Cave (Undead), Glast Heim (Undead/Demon), and join MVP parties. Use the Job Freedom System to swap classes for efficient farming — farm with a DPS class, swap to Priest for dungeon runs.

Levels 55+: Mid to Endgame

Gear up with your build-specific equipment at level 55. Focus on refining your weapon and accessories first — they give the biggest stat returns. Run daily dungeons (Time Corridor for royal outfit chests), participate in MVP hunts, and join a guild for WoE and GvG content. Priests are mandatory in all endgame group content.

Priest Farming Guide Zeny & Materials

Full Support Priest

FS Priests are the slowest solo farmers. Your best approach: party up. Join MVP trains, dungeon carries, and guild farming groups. Use the Job Freedom System to swap to a DPS class (Mage, Gunslinger) for solo farming sessions, then swap back to Priest for group content.

ME Priest

The best solo-farming Priest build. Drop ME on dense Undead/Demon packs in Payon Cave and Glast Heim. With Safety Wall, you can solo large pulls. Prioritize maps with high mob density and Undead/Demon property — Holy damage gets bonus multiplier. Use Grand Survival Staff for maximum AoE damage.

Battle Priest

Solid solo farmer with auto-attack sustain. Buff up (Blessing, Increase AGI, Gloria, Impositio Manus, Aspersio), turn on auto-battle, and let Duple Light + Sanctified Hammer procs clear packs. Effective on non-Undead maps too — Heretic Judex gives 25% chance to treat any target as Undead, triggering your bonus damage.

General Tips

  • Auto-hunting: the game has built-in offline auto-battle. Set your skill rotation, find a good spawn, and let it run overnight.
  • SP management: Use Magnificat for party SP recovery. Equip SP regen cards early (Elder Willow). Carry SP potions for long sessions.
  • Card farming: Target mini-bosses that drop valuable cards (Rabbit Card from cape slot, Thara Frog from shield). Farm during off-hours when competition is low.
  • Multi-character: Use the free class swap to maintain a farming alt. Level a Mage or Gunslinger for pure farming efficiency, keep your Priest for group content.
