Level as Archer to Job 40 using Double Strafe + Arrow Shower. After job change to Bard, you become a party buffer. Bards are highly sought after for WoE and GvG — Poem of Bragi’s cast time reduction is game-changing. For solo play, use a hybrid DEX/AGI build with basic attack damage supplemented by songs.

Bard overview
Bard is the second job of the Archer branch: Novice, Archer, Bard, Clown. It went live on SEA with the July 16, 2026 launch.
How to unlock
- Bard is the 2nd job of the Archer branch: Novice > Archer > Bard.
- Reach Job Level 40 as Archer, then complete the job change quest at the appropriate NPC.
- Job change is free. Stats and skills reset automatically on your first class switch.
